Circular Magazine Supplement

Circular Magazine Supplement
A2 Magazines
I have created three A2 publications supplements for the Circular Magazine based on designers who have provided talks for the Typographic Circle. I have chosen Morag Myerscough, Graham Fink and Studio 8 as my three designers I want to base my supplements on for Circular magazine. I chose to do theses designers because they all vary in the way they think and design and thought it would be interesting to explore this.

Morag Myerscough is very eccentric and likes doing 3D projects using bold type, bright colours, geometric shapes and patterns. To try and portray this to my reader I chose to incorporate bright colours and patterns to represent her personality into the design of my magazine. Graham Fink was an ideas man whose strongest projects are advertisement films. Therefore I have use symbols that represent what he does and how he works. The layout of my supplement includes an article of their recent work and then interviews to get to know them better as well as centerfold quote from them and a distribution of images of their projects.

The magazine is A2 because it is more visually engaging for the viewer and can also hold more content in the magazine without feeling overcrowded. Each magazine has the same layout and format to create consistency throughout the supplements and help familiarisation with the designer and relate it back to the
Circular magazine.
